Does prayer really make a difference? To know the answer to this question, you have to pray about it!  We’ve now come full circle. The Holy Spirit, Giver of Life Retreat

No one can say ‘Jesus is Lord’ except by the Holy Spirit.  God has sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, crying, ‘Abba! Father! This knowledge of faith is possible only in the Holy Spirit: to be in touch with Christ, we must first have been touched by the Holy Spirit. He comes to meet us and kindles faith in us. By virtue of our Baptism, the first sacrament of the faith, the Holy Spirit in the Church communicates to us, intimately and personally, the life that originates in the Father and is offered to us in the Son.

The Holy Spirit is at work with the Father and the Son from the beginning to the completion of the plan for our salvation. But in these “end times,” ushered in by the Son’s redeeming Incarnation, the Spirit is revealed and given, recognized and welcomed as a person. This retreat will focus on who the Holy Spirit is and what He does for each one of us.

RCIA Retreat

The Catholic Church is not just one denomination among many. In fact, it can trace its founding roots back to Jesus Christ, who started our Church. For 2,000 years, the Catholic Church has guarded the truth that Jesus has taught, whether in or out of style. In the Church today, one can experience the most personal relationship with Christ through the Holy Eucharist, the gift of Christ’s Body and Blood to us. Since its founding, the Catholic Church has continued to be the largest body of Christians on earth. Though it’s not perfect, nor does it have perfect members, the Church still contains the fullness of truth, which Jesus promised would set us free. In this retreat, we will explore the beauty that the Catholic faith have to offer to all of humanity.

RCIA Retreat

The Catechism of the Catholic Church states: “conversion is accomplished in daily life by gestures of reconciliation, concern for the poor, the exercise and defense of justice and right, by the admission of faults to one’s brethren, fraternal correction, revision of life, examination of conscience, spiritual direction, acceptance of suffering, endurance of persecution for the sake of righteousness. Taking up one’s cross each day and following Jesus is the surest way of penance.” In this retreat, we will explore what it means and how to apply conversion in our daily living. We will learn ways to experience conversion as a way to develop our call for sanctification.
